  1. Bro I used to look at it like that for the time and money it would take me to get back home, yes in a perfect world 🌎 you would get a ride/trip right back to your house street. So think about it like this if you work 30-1:00 hr away from your house at a full time job Monday-Friday you would being driving home everyday on your dime. So when you call it quits for the day I am on my own time if I want to stop and eat or find a tree to sleep under in my car I can, it’s your time that’s the point. Also when I am ready to go home I see how many miles I am away from my house and I will see how much money it is for me to get back home (gas) and do one or more two more requests so that way I can say the people are paying for me to drive home for each day, on my time.

  2. Are cops strict in the Boston area? The reason I do UberEATS in Washington DC is that it's easy to park illegally and do my delivery real quick, but that's not the case in other states ..

  3. $21+ per hour estimate looks appealing but then I can't help think about how much money you're having to use for gas and of course the wear you're putting on the car. Thats also pre-tax. Doesn't seem worth it.

  4. You would make more money working at McDonald’s for minimum wage where I live. They listed on indeed to get a bunch of new drivers, when the drivers they already had were barely making anything. They just want new people who don’t know how it goes to sign up, and it just makes it worse for every driver and customer, new and old. Now they have a commercial telling people you can just turn off the rides and do deliveries. So now we have a million uber eats drivers but no driver is making good money where I live.

  5. I’ve done UberEats as a driver and as a customer. These greedy companies don’t pay enough. More often than not, it’s not worth it driving for them. Sometimes people end up spending more than what you make plus wear and tear on the car, taxes, high gas prices, car depreciation and a real risk of becoming a crime victim. I’d say find something else buddy.

  6. I just started,I have had to go out of pocket too much for gas, there should be an allowance when drivers start.I am pushing towards bonus, going to get it in a short amount of time!

  7. Dashers, Uber eats Drivers and Grubhub drivers should pick up orders only when it says 1 Mile = $1+ Tips, Example Order value $5, 7Miles, this is a Bad order. If the Order value is $5+ Tips, distance is 3 miles or 4 miles this is a good order. When you are driving you should consider Depreciation of the Vehicle, wear & tear of vehicle, Gas used for driving and your time spent driving the vehicle. If you are not following these rules then you are wasting your time and Money. If you are delivering food in a bigger city then you should be getting more than this money. Thank you and Good Luck Guys. πŸ‘βœŒοΈπŸ˜€πŸ™πŸ™‚πŸ˜πŸ˜β€οΈ

  8. It's a false sense of accomplishment. You're not "making" that. It's not what you make, it's what you keep. Add the gas, your time, and the wear and tear, risking your life every freaking day, insurance and all liability on you, and zero benefits and support from these two joker clown companies. And you truly make $10 to $12 an hour. The little kids at Jack In The Box have a $2 gas bill a day to get to and from to work. Yours is around $40 or more a day to work. Add $40 x 30 days in a month. That's $1200 a month in gas. The little kids make more than you and they're not annihilating a car(s) in the process to make that money. But you are. Good tires are $700+ and brakes are $250 and oil changes each month add up. You guys better wise up and really know what's it's costing you to continue to do this. You're living a fantasy. You're not making no $25 an hour LOL!!! You're not even close with that fantasy island figure. You're living a lie dude.

  9. $21/hour isn't good after considering the fuel, wear and tear, maintenance, and the devaluation of your vehicle resell price.
Most companies pay around .50/mile reimbursement for driving your personal vehicle for work related business on top of your salary or hourly wage. I think a lot of people are robbing Peter to pay Paul essentially and one day soon when their cars start aging they'll regret doing this type of work.
