Join a team and help build out their brokerage offering.What you’ll do
- Drive sales and new carrier appointments to grow the companies footprint.
- Support the continued evolution of wholesale operations.
- Complete licensed-related activity as part of each surplus lines transaction
- Interact with Carriers and Agents across the quote-bind-issue portion of the policy lifecycle
- Support renewal operations
- Partner with our Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to build solutions to streamline efforts across the full policy lifecycle in the surplus lines space
What you’ll need
- 6+ years of full-time experience in a similar role producing at a wholesaler
- Both Texas general and surplus lines licenses
- Strong sales / producer abilities
- Ability to handle high-volume deals, generating quotes and servicing policies quickly
- Excellent communication skills: both in-person and written
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- A natural desire to see things through and a history of being scrappy when it counts
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally
