  • Lead class size and profile goal setting for these programs with the MBA leadership team. Assess the markets and segments the MBA Program Office currently serves, while leading and implementing strategies to expand into new geographic areas and industry/functional segments.
  • Manage class size and profiles through the admissions committee and accurate reporting.
  • Lead the daily operations of Working Professional and Executive MBA Admissions, including the implementation and adjustment of policies and procedures to streamline the admissions and application process and optimize MBA Program Office resources.
  • Ensure targets are met through outreach, recruiting, and yield initiatives for all applicants and admitted students. Lead improvements to onboarding experience for incoming students.

Team Leadership & DevelopmentProvide guidance, support, and feedback to a team of admissions officers and administrative staff support Working Professional and Executive MBA Programs.Identify training and development needs and opportunities. Regularly assess performance and establish performance goals.Manage work assignments and team schedules.Admissions Officer Duties

  • Step in as an “additional admissions officer” when needed to support programs requiring extra attention. Activities include host admissions recruiting events, review applications, interview candidates and give feedback on decisions.

Marketing SupportSupport MBA Marketing Team on professional/executive MBA perspective of the following items: Event Campaign Development/Execution (Tours; Roadshows; Special Events), Online/Email/Social Media Campaign Development/Execution, Print Materials/Website Development/Execution.Required Qualifications

  • Master degree in business, education, or a related field and 7 years of related experience.
  • Experienced leader with a proven track record of success in leadership positions within complex, multi-constituent, mission-driven organizations.
  • Extensive experience in talent acquisition activities (recruitment, evaluation, admissions etc.) within a higher education or corporate environment
  • Proven success in building successful partnerships across organizations. Excellent diplomacy skills to handle complex situations with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate difficult and complex matters effectively to a range of audiences and skill levels.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and/or other remote communication technologies as well as webinars.
  • Ability to travel extensively to represent the McCombs School of Business and the University of Texas at Austin

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Preferred QualificationsMasters of Business Administration (MBA)Working knowledge of graduate management education and/or MBA programs.
