Job description: Director of Utility CoordinationHalff Associates has an immediate opening for a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)/Utility Coordination Director in our Richardson, TX office.The Utility Coordination Director will be responsible for overseeing and leading a SUE/Utility Coordination team in the Richardson office; managing SUE projects, budgets, schedules and submittals, as well as marketing SUE services both internally and externally; developing and maintaining client relationships; overseeing QA/QC and standard operating procedures; strategic planning; and aligning SUE/Utility Coordination goals with firm goals.Requirements:Minimum 10 years of SUE/Utility Coordination experienceP.E. license in the State of Texas (other states a plus) or ability to obtain within six monthsBase knowledge of SUE standards and equipment * Understanding of Utility Coordination processesKnowledge of Microstation V8i and AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong leadership and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsCompany Overview:Halff is a mid-sized, employee-owned, diverse and multi-disciplined professional services firm designed, engineered, planned, constructed – and purposed – for people.
