Recognized as one of the best hotel bars in Austin, The Driskill Bar offers a place to relax and unwind with a feel that is Texan through and through.Responsibilities for the Driskill Bar Manager will include but are not limited to:
- Driving revenue in the bar
- Oversight of payroll
- Scheduling
- Concepting
- Project and Cost Management
- Special Events Planning and Management
- Involvement in the local Austin Community
- Involvement in PR, Marketing and Promotion development for the bar
- Controlling Beverage Costs and Pars
- Updating Bar menus as needed
- Oversight of all Front of House Operations
Three years prior Food & Beverage management experience is required. Prior experience in a fast pace high volume bar environment is preferred.This position will work closely with the culinary & marketing team to drive revenue and create an extraordinary experience in the bar. Qualifications:
- 3+ years prior F&B Leadership experience required
- Cocktail and mixology experience / knowledge preferred
- Refined written and verbal communication skills
- Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, administrative skills
- This position must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
