We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.The Heavy Civil Engineer is on the Project Manager career-track and assists the Project Manager and Project Administrator in a variety of engineering functions identified as procurement and expediting of construction materials.Responsibilities
- Procurement of materials
- Detailed estimation of costs on proposed changes
- Update of contract plans and master schedules
- Overall responsibility of submittals
- Responsible for tracking materials, project coordination and safety
- Analyze, review and update job cost information
- Process change orders as required by project owners
- Manage subcontractors
- Requests for information responses from owners and subcontractors
- Assists in the compilation of close-out documents, including drawings, guarantees, warranties and service manuals for delivery to the owner
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent preferred, but may be substituted by experience.
- 2-7 years’ experience in large heavy civil aviation construction projects
