How much for a baby goat?
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

The closer young goats are to milk fed the better the price for them.
Goat prices may be on the rise due to the influx of immigrants coming into the country. I believe many of them have been raised on goat meat more so than they have beef.
I wonder what the market is like now. Sold any lately?

Hi, just curious to know if grass fed and grain fed makes any differnce?
So, it sounds like it isn't cost effective to buy five or ten very young kids, feed them for a few months and then take them to the meat market. It sounds like I would lose money that way. Did I hear all that right? Buying a young kid from a goat farm would probably cost me more than what I would get later at the meat market.
