Spend 10 weeks with us exploring the retail industry as an H-E-B Digital Intern. Program dates will be from June 2nd – August 8th. Interns will be required to be In Person out of our San Antonio, Austin or Dallas offices. Design & Development

  • Learn about new technology, about the digital organization, and about the industry
  • Take technical direction to deliver well-scoped work
  • Work directly with Security Analysts to address trouble tickets, and enable moves / adds / changes, and installation of security-related products and services
  • Support efforts to implement security programs related to corporate standards, procedures, and guidelines to align with various compliance and risk requirements
  • Effectively communicate (verbal, listening, and written) with your team and manager

  • Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program

Program Expectations

  • Must have reliable transportation or be open to using public transportation
  • Must be available for the entire 10 weeks
  • The availability to commit to full-time work in-person for the duration of the Internship, and work a varying work schedule, if required

Projects previous Interns have worked on:

  • A previous intern created a web app that allows for creating custom data visualizations of monthly phishing campaigns.
  • A previous intern designed, tested, and scheduled quarterly spear phishing campaigns and monthly phishing campaigns as part of a security awareness program.

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
  • Lift 20 lbs or more on an occasional basis
  • Work rotating schedules
