Making Money
NURSE SALARY: How Much Money I Make as a Registered Nurse | including my actual paycheck
Hi guys! I break down how much money I’ve made as a new grad nurse, nicu nurse, nurse case manager, primary care nurse, and PRN med surg nurse! These pay rates are based in Atlanta.
Disclaimer: the incentives are all hospital based depending on the staffing need. Luckily, my hospital offers great rates to the point where I can make a six-figure income 🤑

You’re beautiful Safiya.
I've just decided to apply to nursing school Post -Bacc and I'm so glad this popped up! Thank you for this!
Same here! I really don't have specialties because I was assigned to different areas. Thank you for sharing your experiences and great ideas. I know now what I am going to do once I work in the US.
Talking about your income should NOT be taboo! People need to get over that taboo. By talking about your pay keeps the higher ups on their toes!
I watch videos like this to help motivate myself thru school
Who does your taxes or how do you get around the high interest tax rate?
Can you do prn as a new grad nurse?
you talk intensevely but you forget which country you are working,,,sorry,,,
I'm starting nursing school next month, and looking to relocate to Atl when I'm finished. I currently work PRN in my currently healthcare setting. I've always worked PRN. It's way better in my opinion.
Can you give any insight on any of the hospitals there?
Real Estate Guys
U nurse with those nails! YUCK! And what do u have on…PUT your scrubs on or something!
Girl, this is GENIUS! I'm about to start nursing school in the fall and I've been so stressed trying to figure out which speciality I will want to be in because they make it seems as if once you pick one, you're stuck in it for life or something! So this was very insightful and helpful. But when you do graduate, can you start as a PRN nurse right away or is it probably better to get some experience first… and then once I do get some experience, how would I become a PRN nurse? Would I have to apply for a different job that says PRN nurse through a different hospital?…. Im sorry for all the questions I have just never heard of a PRN nurse.
So you're bringing in a little over $200k a year, as a PRN? Nice
You said you're working 2 shifts a week @ $45/hr then picking up an extra incentive shift; is that per week? Or per pay period? I guess my question is how many hours per week do you work as a PRN nurse and why wouldn't you ONLY pick up shifts if they're incentivized? Why would you work 2 shifts at $45.00/hr. if you don't have to with PRN?
Thank you for these videos!!! I’m in an ABSN program now & I ultimately will finish with my DNP! 😊
