Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.   • Move finished product off the line to warehouse staging areas using a forklift.
  • Perform comprehensive visual and mechanical quality checks according to established plant procedures.
  • Utilize factory systems to inspect and continuously monitor the performance of can production.
  • Analyze quality charts to discern and ensure the acceptability of cans based on stringent quality standards.
  • Calibrate and maintain quality equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Establish and sustain a secure work environment, prioritizing the well-being of all team members.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with team members regarding quality and production matters throughout the shift.
  • Safeguard the integrity of the plant and external customer satisfaction through rigorous quality control.
  • Exercise keen attention to detail during inspections and audits to facilitate the implementation of precise corrective actions.
  • Actively assist in tasks between scheduled checks to ensure the seamless and optimal operation of the can production line.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping to uphold cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Demonstrate full compliance with all OSHA and company safety rules and regulations.

Requirements:What is required?

  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (QC/QA experience is a plus).
  • Basic computer skills (Excel/Outlook).
  • Willingness to drive a forklift (we will train and certify).
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, good record keeping, organization, precision abilities, and basic math skills is essential.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and flexibility to adjust to sudden work patterns/changes at short notice.
  • Must demonstrate time management skills and prioritization.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and with teams.
  • Must have good decision-making skills for quarantining out of specification product.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak basic English.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods as well as work on elevated stationary platforms and withstand extreme climate changes especially during summer and winter months.
  • Ability to work 4 10 hour shifts initially (6am-4pm), switching to 12-hour shifts (6am – 6pm) by Q4 (4 days on 4 days off).
