Check us out here: andAs our Regional Sales Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Achieve Sales Quotas: Take full accountability for meeting and surpassing sales quotas allocated to the region, actively driving revenue growth and market expansion initiatives.
  • Strategic Business Development: Identify and capitalize on future opportunities to acquire new customers and generate revenue within targeted industries and end-user segments.
  • Business Planning and Execution: Develop and implement robust business plans tailored to the unique demands of the Americas market, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain a strong presence in the Americas regions, fostering enduring relationships with resellers, systems integrators, and end-users to drive sustained business growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Operations, Marketing Communications, Product Management, and Engineering to ensure seamless coordination and delivery aligned with customer expectations.
  • Solution Development: Work closely with the Pre-sales team to understand customer operational requirements and craft tailored solution configurations that effectively address specific needs.
  • Market Insights and Feedback: Deeply understand regional market dynamics and customer needs, providing valuable insights and feedback to inform product marketing, product management, and sales strategies.
  • Territory Management: Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to nurture existing customer relationships, cultivate new partnerships, and explore untapped business opportunities.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate participation in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to showcase products, build brand visibility, and network with industry stakeholders.
  • Industry Engagement: Participate in industry-related associations, events, and forums to stay abreast of market trends, gain local industry knowledge, and expand professional networks.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Ensure timely submission of comprehensive reports, expense reports, and other relevant documentation as required by senior management.

Your Experience and Education include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in Physical Access Control, RFID, or related technologies a big plus.
  • Minimum 15 years of related vertical markets and business development experience highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of demonstrable experience in business development and/or technical sales, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Experience with existing network of relevant channel partners and integrators is a plus.
  • Understanding manufacturing as it pertains to Automotive plants-Powertrain, and their user authentication needs.
  • Understanding Manufacturing’s machine builders, machine tool manufacturers, and their authentication and access needs.
  • Understanding the plant floor and the need to track and authenticate users and help establish greater accountability with machine operators.
