Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
  • Create, implement, and evaluate care plans, adjusting as needed to reach desired outcomes.
  • Build relationships with patients and families, managing discomfort and staying professional.
  • Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members on healthcare choices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community to create care plans, delegate tasks, and follow up promptly.
  • Use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff, prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.

What Will Make You Successful In The Role:

  • Deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, procedures, laws, rules, and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, focusing on health, disease prevention, management, and common medications.
  • Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Positive social skills to facilitate interactions with diverse parties.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, information security, scheduling and payroll systems, electronic medical documentation, and email.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Program with a specialized field of study in nursing.
  • Current and valid nursing license.
  • Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting the role.

Expected salary: $59904 – 99216 per year
