Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.What You’ll Do:
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
- Create, implement, and evaluate care plans, adjusting as needed to reach desired outcomes.
- Build relationships with patients and families, managing discomfort and staying professional.
- Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members on healthcare choices.
- Collaborate with colleagues and community to create care plans, delegate tasks, and follow up promptly.
- Use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff, prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.
What Will Make You Successful In The Role:
- Deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, procedures, laws, rules, and guidelines.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, focusing on health, disease prevention, management, and common medications.
- Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.

- Positive social skills to facilitate interactions with diverse parties.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an Accredited Program with a specialized field of study in nursing.
- Current and valid nursing license.
- Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting the role.
Expected salary: $59904 – 99216 per year
