Job title: Rotary Die Cut Machine Operator

Job description: SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Rotary Die Cut Machine Operators for a client in Carrollton, TX. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished products.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st Shift 6am-3pm . Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Rotary Die Cut Operator is responsible for all activities associated with the operation, set-up, cleaning, preventative maintenance, and recommending improvements to the processes, procedures, and/or operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate machine that produces corrugated packaging.
- Set up and run machine to maximize production
- Stop or reset machine when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
- Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature, dimension, pressure, register settings.
- Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
- Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Set up machine from job to job – based on Roto- Cut operational proficiencies.
- Understand Lock-out/Tag-out procedures required for opening and closing Roto-Cut
- Record all necessary information and provide Quality Reports
- Uses proper cut gloves and required personal protective equipment.
- Ability and knowledge to understand and using printing plates, ink systems, die boards.
- Ensuring production floor, machine area, is clean accessible, and safe.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition and follow safety regulations
- Ability to work in a timely and productive manner, using problem solving techniques, and meet customer needs.
- Understand machine set-up techniques for the Die Cutter (i.e print plates, and die boards)
- Installation of Die Boards and Print Plates
- Completing Maintenance Work Orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Preventive Maintenance
