Job description: Description :Safety ManagerAustin Industrial is looking for a high motivated safety inspector to join our team and assist with the capital and maintenance projects and our Borger Phillips 66 jobsite.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks.
- Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to the attention of the Foreman or Safety personnel.
- Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Conduct daily safety audits.
- Administer monthly and daily safety meetings.
- Conduct accident investigations.
- Ensure employees are following proper safety protocols and procedures.
- Answers to Corporate HSE and site manager.
- NCCER in field safety or equivalent training/degree required.
- Ability to work in high pressure setting.
