In this estimation role, you craft accurate bids and collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to get competitive pricing.Throughout the day, you interact with clients, engineers, and project managers, ensuring the project stays on time and within budget. As the project unfolds, you proactively seek out cost-saving measures and handle any potential roadblocks. You’re not just crunching numbers-you’re actively contributing to the success of each project while keeping us at the forefront of the industry.THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED
- 2+ years of field experience as an HVAC installer
- Proven estimator experience in construction or a similar industry
- Strong proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail with an ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong math skills, an analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and excellent time management skills
- Team spirit with great communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with QuoteSoft or Fabrication ESTmep software
- Knowledge of HVAC installation and fabrication
WORK SCHEDULEThis is a full-time estimation position based in Houston, Austin, or Fort Worth, TX. You’ll typically work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime and occasional Saturday shifts.
