This position requires the employee to work quickly with great attention to detail. The Senior Project Manager reports directly to the VP of Strategy & Analytics and is located at the corporate headquarters in the Domain. The Senior Project Manager will develop and coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce desired results. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for time management, planning and designating resources, monitoring the progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the life cycle of each corporate project.WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DOProject Planning and Initiation

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

Project Execution

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution

Stakeholder Management

  • Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

Project Monitoring and Control

  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Post-Project Evaluation

  • Provide postproduction retrospectives on all projects

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years of project management and related experience
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Advanced proficiency with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Communicating strategy effectively throughout the company.
  • Ensuring suitable metrics are in place to measure performance and progress.
  • Monitoring execution of business initiatives.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint
  • Insurance experience preferred.
