Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for an accomplished leader for the role of Sr. Strategy & Planning Manager in the AWS Partner Organization.As the Sr Strategy & Planning (S&P) Manager, you will be part of a team to build and continuously measure the impact of multiple new GTM commercial models. You will help teams evaluate performance against goals, opportunities for optimization, and areas to invest. You will support rhythm of business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics that interlock with leadership. You will support the growth initiatives business desk in deal inspection and approvals. You will also support determining the impact of the programs and aid in designing future investment strategy. You will support mechanism development where applicable.A successful Sr S&P Manager is passionate about working with internal cross-functional AWS stakeholders and business owners, and effectively communicates and collaborates to deliver results and accelerate the AWS business. In this role, you will support the execution of the business including helping to design and build self-service tools and mechanisms to strengthen the operational efficiency of the team, along with creating enablement material for the PMO to leverage with growth business owners. You will analyze initiatives and processes and provide recommendations for improvement. You will help build scalable mechanisms to support business and program operation processes while being able to dive deep into SFDC data. You will support several stakeholders including the extended AWS Leadership organization. You must have the ability and initiative to understand complex business needs and solve them with programs. The work this team does is disruptive, and you must feel comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment while maintaining focus on the business growth goals. You excel at handling several simultaneous requests coming from various stakeholders and delivering quality results with attention to details against high standards.You need to have the ability to effectively communicate at all levels, to influence change and decision-making, and to collaborate with internal end-users and cross-functional data teams to solve problems, design and implement new reporting solutions, and deliver successfully against high standards. You will have a proven work ethic that drives the desired results and loves to dive into the details. You will be able to think big while paying careful attention to detail.   • Drive the evolution and enhancement of mechanisms, developing key reporting systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve market development objectives
  • Conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal Business Partners to develop automation and enhancement of regular reporting for the broader business
  • Act as trusted advisor and thought leader to the cross-functional area leadership in the development of commercial strategy and on how to drive progress in terms of growth initiatives
  • Develop relationships and partner with legal, finance, business intelligence, sales operations and partner and customer-facing account teams
  • Build and maintain an enablement channel that maximizes effectiveness to an audience of 50K builders while allowing leadership to iterate content and messaging
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis, and support related projects as needed
  • Define business requirements and processes to ensure appropriate mechanisms are in place to support sales operations, finance operations, reporting, funding operations management, weekly rhythm of the business, risk management, and compliance.
  • Support finance to manage the development of continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies, supporting the quantitative analysis of the performance of our customer and partner teams and internal stakeholders using deep SFDC pipeline data

– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience defining, refining and implementing processes, procedures and policies
– Financial, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
– Experience with Salesforce or other 3rd party CRM systems and with Microsoft Office Suite to include ExcelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
– Experience working in a lean, fast-paced organization
– Understanding of cloud economics and / or experience working with cloud services
– Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with all levels of internal stakeholders

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
