Job description: Survey Crew Member – Richardson, TXHalff has a current opening for an entry level Survey Crew Member in our Richardson, TX location. This position will be on a field crew assisting a Party Chief by operating conventional and GPS survey equipment to accurately and efficiently measure topographic features and locate boundary evidence in support of land development, transportation, utility, energy, and land surveying projects. - At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in most weather conditions including heat & cold.
- Understanding of Computer Technology required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and strong ability to ensure accuracy. There is very little room for error in this
- position.
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written, delivered verbally, or conveyed via electronic means.
- Must be dependable and responsible regarding punctuality and attendance.
- Must be able to work starting 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Overtime and weekend work may be needed to meet project deadlines.
- Travel generally up to one week at a time will be required for the position, up to 50%.
