Central Plumbing and Electric Supply is looking for a qualified IT Technician that can install and maintain computer systems and networks. Must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate must have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability.
* Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software
* Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
* Ability to diagnose firewall and network issues and equipment
* Remote troubleshooting
* Remain highly focused, able to rapidly determine key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities and ensure resources are properly aligned.
* Work under high pressure situations while remaining composed.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
