Job description: Overview:No Agencies or Recruiters- Direct Applicants Only.Position Purpose: The Land Coordinator must believe in, practice and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. They must be Honest, Objective, Mature and Efficient in how he or she approaches their role at Green Brick Partners.Provide administrative support to Vice President of Land Development and Vice President of Land Acquisition by coordinating reimbursement districts, contract administration, vendor coordination and development budgets to meet division goals. Responsibilities:· Manage land acquisition due diligence process and update checklists· Create land contract legal summary for accounting· Request and review title, environmental studies, surveys, etc.· Maintain land pursuit and acquisition schedule· Process earnest money requests, deposits and releases· Assist in preparation of company approval packages for land acquisitions· File Management – With an understanding of project files related to single family land acquisitions & development· Facilitate substantial completion process with internal Team Builders & 3rd party builders (i.e. Checklist of items for lot transfers/purchase)· Facilitate Homeowner Association (HOA) setups with 3rd party legal & management partners· Contract preparation & management with land development vendors and land sellers· Be familiar with general project accounting and coordinate/communicate with internal project accounting team (i.e. processing invoices, obtaining proper signatures, etc.)· Maintain subcontractor vendor list for land development projects· Assist in the preparation of bid packages for land development projects· Assist with additional land development project administrative needs as required· Compile costs and prepare submittal documents for reimbursements associated with Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) and Public Improvement Districts (PIDs)Supervision of Others: N/AAuthority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability: N/A Qualifications:Education: Associate Degree or higherExperience: Minimum two years of experience in the Real Estate industryCompetencies: Microsoft Office; Google Earth; strong organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills; highly detail oriented; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsGreen Brick Total Compensation:· Above-market compensation and bonus program· Multiple Medical and ancillary benefits· Restricted Stock Awards· 401(k) with Company Match· Fitness Reimbursement and programs· Home Purchase DiscountPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
