You will play an active role in defining the support processes for technologies in partnership with other technology leaders within and possibly outside the team. You should be comfortable with a level of ambiguity that’s higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving big challenges. You will also mentor other engineers in your area of expertise. Key job responsibilities
As member of our Retail Integration Operations Team, your role and responsibilities are to create new stores in Amazon back-end systems by running Linux command line scripts, update key Java packages and deployed to runtime environments. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and over seeing the health of our retail checkout pipeline. Other responsibilities include updating and producing pipeline reports through various tools, creating standard operational procedures, defining and operationalizing new processes that reduce our critical path to scale.
* Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
* Experience troubleshooting & maintaining hardware & software RAID
* Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON

The base pay for this position ranges from $67,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,300/year in our highest geographic market.
